Job Description Responsibilities: ? Design, deploy, and manage Layer 2 and Layer 3 network infrastructure across enterprise/data center environments ? Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, EIGRP (as applicable) ? Manage switching technologies: VLANs, STP/RSTP/MST, LACP, trunking ? Handle advanced troubleshooting for network outages, latency, packet loss, and asymmetric routing issues ? Implement and support high availability and redundancy solutions (HSRP, VRRP, MLAG, VSX, VSS) ? Work closely with firewall and security teams (FortiGate, Check Point, F5 preferred) ? Perform network performance monitoring, capacity planning, and optimization ? Support WAN, MPLS, Internet and VPN connectivity ? Manage and troubleshoot load balancers (F5 LTM ? preferred) ? Participate in change management, maintenance windows, and root cause analysis (RCA) ? Create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and SOPs ? Provide L3/L4 escalation support and mentor L1/L2 engineers ? Ensure compliance with security, audit, and operational standards Technical Skills: ? Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, ARP, ICMP, DNS, DHCP ? Routing: OSPF, BGP (route filtering, redistribution, path selection) ? Switching: VLAN, STP, EtherChannel, MAC learning ? Network troubleshooting using packet capture and CLI tools ? Experience with Cisco, Dell switches/routers ? High availability protocols: HSRP / VRRP Qualifications: B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc. (ECE/EEE/CS/IT) with 6+ years of relevant experience in Network Routing and Switching with a valid CCNP or CCIE(LAB) certification and OEM Certifications of Radware/ Checkpoint / F5 /Fortinet.
