**Technical skill requirements** - 5-7 years hands-on experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) for ETL development and maintenance - Expert-level SQL skills with experience in complex query development and optimization - Strong experience in data testing methodologies, validation techniques, and quality assurance processes - Proficiency in database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, or similar enterprise databases) - Experience with data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data integration patterns **Job Qualification (education, years of experience and other soft skills)** - Information Technology-related Bachelor or Masters degree - 5-7 years of relevant experience in ETL development, data integration, and business intelligence - **Previous experience in financial services or banking industry preferred** - Professional certifications in Oracle technologies or data management tools advantageous - **Good communication and interpersonal skills** **Main responsibilities and duties of the role** - **ETL Development & Data Integration** • Develop and maintain ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) for data extraction, transformation, and loading • Design and implement data integration workflows from various source systems to target databases and data warehouses • Optimize ETL performance and troubleshoot data integration issues • Create and maintain ODI mappings, procedures, and packages for automated data processing • Monitor and maintain scheduled ETL jobs ensuring data accuracy and timeliness - **SQL Development & Data Analysis** • Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation across multiple databases • Perform data analysis to support business requirements and identify data quality issues • Develop stored procedures, functions, and views to support reporting and analytics needs • Optimize SQL queries for performance and maintain database objects • Support ad-hoc data requests and analysis for business users - **Testing, Documentation & Quality Assurance** • Develop comprehensive test cases and execute unit testing for ETL processes and data transformations • Create and maintain technical documentation including ETL specifications, data lineage, and process flows • Perform data validation and reconciliation between source and target systems • Document testing results and maintain test scripts for regression testing • Ensure data quality standards and implement data validation checks - **UAT Support & Stakeholder Collaboration** • Provide technical support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases • Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and resolve testing issues • Support production deployments and post-implementation monitoring • Participate in requirement gathering sessions and translate business needs into technical specifications • Provide training and knowledge transfer to business users and support teams
