**Role & responsibilities** Develop custom IBM Sterling OMS services: APIs, agents, pipeline configurations, and condition trees Build and maintain integration pipelines connecting OMS to WMS, SAP ERP, payment gateways, and carriers Debug and resolve OMS integration issues: queue failures, message processing errors, and inventory sync Develop new OMS capabilities for channel onboarding, returns processing, and split shipments Implement and maintain OMS integration monitoring, alerting, and logging for all interface touchpoints Support UAT, go-live, and hypercare activities for OMS changes **Preferred candidate profile** 4+ years Java development; hands-on IBM Sterling OMS development experience strongly preferred Proficiency in IBM Sterling OMS development: custom APIs, agents, services, and pipeline configuration Strong Java / J2EE skills for building and debugging Sterling custom services Experience debugging OMS message queues (IBM MQ / JMS), integration pipelines, and API failures Strong SQL skills for OMS data debugging, order reconciliation, and operational reporting
