Job Description – Attending Consultant – Orthopaedics Position: Attending Consultant – Orthopaedics Department: Orthopaedics Location: Hospital Key Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with orthopaedic conditions. • Conduct OPD consultations and manage inpatient cases. • Perform and assist in orthopaedic procedures and surgeries as per expertise. • Manage trauma and emergency orthopaedic cases effectively. • Develop appropriate treatment plans and ensure continuity of patient care. • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient management. • Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including patient records and discharge summaries. • Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, clinical guidelines, and patient safety standards. • Counsel patients and attendants regarding diagnosis, treatment options, procedures, and follow-up care. • Participate in clinical meetings, audits, and quality improvement initiatives. • Support departmental growth through patient care, referrals, and professional collaboration. Eligibility • Qualification: MBBS with MS/DNB/Diploma in Orthopaedics from a recognised institution. • Experience: Relevant experience in Orthopaedics, preferably in a hospital setting. • Valid medical registration with the respective medical council.
