Pharmacist Job Description Position : Pharmacist Occupational Health Centre (OHC) Deployment Details • Shift Timing: General Shift (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) • Working Days: Six days a week • Employment Type: Permanent • Backup Support: Service Provider shall maintain a pool of backup/reliever personnel as part of redundancy management. Qualification & Eligibility Criteria The candidate should meet the following requirements: 1. Educational Qualification: • Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm) with valid Pharmacy License. 1. Experience: • Minimum 2 year of experience as a Pharmacist in a reputed Hospital, Industry, or Nursing Home will be preferred. 1. Skills Required: • Good knowledge of Computers and MS Office. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. Roles & Responsibilities of Pharmacist Pharmacy Operations • Review and execute doctors prescriptions accurately. • Organize medicines efficiently for easy identification and faster dispensing. • Maintain full control over delivering, stocking, and labelling medicines and related products. • Monitor medicine condition to prevent expiry or deterioration. • Maintain proper records of medicine storage and dispensing. • Perform monthly indenting of medicines and stock items through the online HMS system. • Ensure FEFO (First Expired, First Out) compliance in pharmacy operations. Inventory & Equipment Management • Maintain daily inventory checks and equipment checklists. • Maintain records of calibration and checking of equipment. • Conduct daily checking of medicines available in the ambulance. • Maintain proper records of pharmacy/store stock. • Supervise cleanliness and maintenance of the OHC pharmacy store. • Ensure crash trolley maintenance and audit. Emergency & Occupational Health Activities • Ensure emergency preparedness for fire and other exigencies. • Participate in Occupational Health activities such as: • Health Surveillance • Working Women Health Improvement Projects • Wellness Workplace Programs • Doctor Doorstep Initiatives Reporting & Coordination • Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and OHC staff for smooth pharmacy operations. • Ensure timely communication regarding stock shortages, expiry, and operational requirements.
