Job Title: Playwright Automation Test Engineer Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Playwright Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks for web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Playwright, TypeScript/JavaScript, API testing, CI/CD integration, and modern quality engineering practices to ensure high-quality software delivery. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright. • Create and execute automated test scripts for web applications. • Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing. • Develop reusable Page Object Model (POM) frameworks and test utilities. • Execute cross-browser testing across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit. • Automate API testing using Playwright and other API testing tools. • Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools. • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and acceptance criteria. • Analyze test execution results and prepare detailed test reports. • Integrate automation test suites with CI/CD pipelines. • Ensure test coverage, scalability, maintainability, and reliability of automation frameworks. • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Required Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. • 2-83years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation. • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright Automation. • Strong expertise in: • Playwright Test Framework • TypeScript (Preferred) or JavaScript • Node.js • Page Object Model (POM) • Test Design Patterns • Experience with: • UI Automation Testing • End-to-End Testing • Cross-Browser Testing • Regression Testing • API Testing • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web technologies. • Experience with version control systems such as Git. • Knowledge of SQL and database validation. • Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar test management tools. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Preferred Skills • Experience with Playwright API Testing capabilities. • Integration with CI/CD tools: • Jenkins • Azure DevOps • GitHub Actions • GitLab CI/CD • Experience with cloud testing platforms: • BrowserStack • LambdaTest • Sauce Labs • Knowledge of Docker and containerized testing environments. • Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber. • Exposure to Accessibility Testing and Visual Testing tools. • Experience working with Azure, AWS, or GCP environments.
