Role Overview: The Asst. Manager - Process Excellence will drive strategic design, optimization, and process improvement initiatives across middle-mile (warehouse), line haul and last-mile delivery operations. This role focuses on enhancing delivery speed, reliability, cost efficiency, and customer experience by building scalable, data-driven processes, leveraging technology. The role demands a blend of analytical problem-solving, design thinking, and implementation — ideal for someone passionate about transforming how products move from the warehouse to the customer doorstep in a D2C ecosystem. Key Responsibilities: • Identify opportunities for improving space productivity in existing warehouses and last mile hubs. • Drive the rollout of strategic process excellence initiatives across all assets and ensure the target metrics are achieved. • Implement scalable processes, SOPs, and KPIs for throughput, accuracy, and efficiency. • Benchmark warehouse productivity through time-motion studies , identify gaps and continuously improve productivity . • Reduce losses in the reverse network - reduce damages and returns, identify improvements to increase re-inventorization of returns and set up process for timely scrapping of damages • Collaborate with the Product and Tech teams to digitize operations and enhance existing digital processes. • Build business cases for capital expenditure on automation, layout redesign, or process change.  Qualifications and Skills • 1-3 years of experience in process excellence, operations design, operations excellence, preferably for a manufacturing, logistics, consulting or D2C company dealing with white goods or furniture products. • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering / Supply Chain / Operations Management; Master’s degree (MBA / M.S / M.E / M.Tech) preferred. • Should have a hands-on approach to problem solving - must be willing to frequently visit the warehouse and last mile facilities to understand the problems, identify and implement solutions. • Strong in analytical thinking and data analysis. Must be well versed in Excel; Knowledge of SQL, Python, Power BI/Tableau is preferred but not mandatory • Excellent problem-solving, project management, and stakeholder management skills. • Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt preferred, but not mandatory).
