About Us: Pluang is Indonesia's leading multi-asset investment platform, offering diverse products such as Crypto, US Stocks, Mutual Funds, and Gold. With a mission to redefine investing, we provide a seamless, innovative, and secure experience to empower millions of Indonesians to achieve financial independence. Backed by $110M+ in funding from global investors like Accel and Openspace Ventures, we are one of Indonesia's fastest-growing fintechs. Role Overview: We are hiring a Product Manager to own the US Stocks and derivatives business within our Global Products team. This is not a delivery-coordination role: you are accountable end-to-end for the product — its economics, its systems, its launches, and its failures. You will operate in a complex brokerage environment (liquidity providers, corporate actions, margin/leverage, multi-currency portfolios) where the cost of shallow understanding is measured in real money. Join Pluang and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of investing in Indonesia. What You Will Do: • End-to-End Business Ownership (US Stocks & Derivatives) • Own the full lifecycle of GSS initiatives — from first-principles problem definition through PRD, build, launch, and post-launch P&L — not just the execution of a handed-down roadmap. • Be accountable for the commercial outcome: track revenue, adoption, and unit economics weekly; if a feature isn't making money, diagnosing why is your job before anyone asks. • Treat anything that impacts your product as your problem — including partner outages, compliance blockers, and downstream team dependencies. • Domain-Deep Product Delivery • Manage detailed execution of roadmap items across US Stocks, ETFs, IPOs, leverage trading, and derivative products — grounded in real understanding of order lifecycles, settlement, corporate actions, margin, FX translation, and broker economics. • Translate strategy into PRDs, user stories, and simulations you have personally stress-tested; you should be the most knowledgeable person in the room on your own workstream. • Sequence work by impact, not by arrival order: distinguish the steps that need deep thinking from the steps that are just writing, and allocate your effort accordingly. • Cross-Functional & Partner Coordination • Drive execution across engineering, design, QA, compliance, operations, and external partners (liquidity providers, market-data vendors), acting as the primary interface to third parties. • Escalate early and communicate proactively — surface risks and blockers the day you see them, with a recommended answer attached, never sitting on them. • Documentation & Decision Hygiene • Maintain rigorous written artifacts: no significant conversation, decision, or handoff without a structured document. PRDs, SOPs, and runbooks must be written to be consumed — with intent, indexing, and format. • Ask questions early and in context; validate assumptions before building on them. • Data-Driven Optimization and Experimentation • Execute structured experimentation (e.g., A/B tests), analyze user data, and use insights to iteratively improve features and conversion funnels. • Evaluate product performance through user behavior analysis and benchmarking, proactively recommending improvements. What We're Looking For: • Qualifications: • 4+ years in product management, with mandatory experience in brokerage, trading platforms, or capital-markets fintech. • Working knowledge of market mechanics is a hard requirement: order types and lifecycle, settlement, corporate actions, margin and leverage, FX exposure, and broker/LP economics. Candidates will be tested on this in interviews. • Demonstrated history of owning a product P&L or business metric — not just shipping features. • Skills & Competencies: • Judgment under load: able to rank tasks by business impact ("equity"), sequence them correctly, and defend the ranking — we screen for this explicitly with prioritization cases. • Systems thinking: can trace a feature end-to-end across frontend, backend, partner APIs, and ops workflows rather than treating pieces in isolation. • Strong written communication: structured documents, decision logs, and stakeholder updates as a default habit. • Proficient analytical capabilities to support data-driven experimentation and decision-making. • Mindset: • Owner, not executor: takes unprompted initiative to expand scope, hunts for wins, and holds themselves accountable for outcomes they weren't explicitly assigned. • Self-directed learner: closes knowledge gaps proactively using every available resource (including AI tools); asks early rather than assuming. • Comfortable being challenged on fundamentals and expecting the same rigor of others. Preferred Experience: • Direct exposure to IPO/primary-market workflows, CFDs, options, or commodities trading. • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and operational considerations within fintech products. • Experience managing third-party broker/LP integrations (e.g., Alpaca-type partners). Why Pluang? Pluang Offers: • Attractive compensation package - competitive salary, flexible bonus scheme. • We are always looking for ways to promote and inspire innovation. So, come build your dream with us. • Flexible career path - management and technical career growth, enhanced by learning and development program, regular performance assessment, teams of multi-national IT professionals. • Healthy work environment - company-sponsored medical program, food, and beverage program, open communication. • Friendly policies to support Work-life balance, team building, and celebrations. • We are an equal-opportunity employer and value div
