**Position- Production Engineer** **Location: Pune** **Qualification** Bachelor's Degree in: - Mechanical Engineering - Electrical Engineering - Electronics - Instrumentation - Mechatronics - Industrial Engineering - Engineering Technology **Experience** **Minimum 5 years** of experience. Preferred Industries Manufacturing, Packaging, Material Handling, Plastics, FMCG, Food Processing, Process Industries, and Automotive Components. **Job Purpose** Manage and optimize automated production operations by integrating: - Mechanical Systems - Industrial Automation - Electrical Controls - Instrumentation - Production Technology **Key Responsibilities** - Ensure uninterrupted operation of automated production lines. - Manage conveyors, shredders, compressors, ducting, dust collection, and utility systems. - Operate and monitor PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI, and VFD systems. - Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and automation breakdowns. - Conduct RCA and CAPA activities. - Improve OEE, productivity, throughput, and machine utilization. - Drive line balancing and bottleneck elimination initiatives. - Support installation, commissioning, and automation improvement projects. - Implement productivity, energy-saving, and cost-optimization initiatives. - Ensure safety, quality, environmental, and operational compliance. **Required Technical Expertise** **Mechanical Systems** - Conveyors & Interlocked Conveyor Systems - Shredders & Material Handling Equipment - Air Compressors & Pneumatic Systems - Dust Collection & Extraction Systems - Industrial Ducting - Gearboxes, Bearings, Couplings & Drives - Production Line Synchronization **Automation & Controls** - PLC Operation & Troubleshooting - DCS - SCADA - HMI - VFD/Variator - Sensors & Switches - Safety Interlocks & E-Stops - MCC & Control Panels - Machine Communication & Line Integration **Desired Candidate Profile** - Strong Mechanical + Industrial Automation exposure - Strong troubleshooting and RCA skills - Expertise in integrated mechanical, electrical, and automation systems - Experience in OEE improvement and productivity enhancement - Knowledge of PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI, and VFD systems - Continuous improvement and cost reduction mindset - Hands-on, proactive, and independent working style
