Job description

**Special Requirement:** - ***Deep understanding of hydraulic brake systems, ABS (Anti-lock Braking Systems), and foundation brakes*** ***- Working with Brakes, ABS, ESP Industry.*** ***- Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, DFMEA, Project Gates, Manufacturing Knowledge.*** **Technical/Functional Knowledge and Skills required:** - **Program Leadership & Cross-Functional Management:** Directs large, multidisciplinary teams including Design, Testing, Component Devp. Process Engineer, Production, PPC, Electronics engineer and software engineers, units to keep the brakes project development process aligned with company goals. - **Budget & Resource Control:** Manages complex financial allocations, tracks expenses, and resources for the project. - **Timeline:** Develops comprehensive project schedules and strictly coordinates the integration of various vehicle components to meet strict launch dates. - **Risk & Issue Management:** Anticipates and mitigates engineering hurdles, supply chain disruptions, and resource shortages. - **Quality & Compliance:** Ensures that the final product adheres to heavy regulatory requirements, stringent safety standards, and environmental regulations. - **Stakeholder Communication:** Serves as the primary point of contact, managing expectations and translating between executives, clients, and engineering teams **Any unique soft skill / behavioral requirement:** - Communication skills. - Tactful Communication. - Prevents Stagnation. - Learning attitude. - Delivery consciousness. - Adaptive for changes. **Key Deliverables / Accountabilities of the Position:** - Program Charter & Feasibility Sign-off, Design Freeze Deliverables, Prototype Deliverables, SOP (Start of Production) Clearance, Integrated Master Schedule, Resource and Budget Baselines, Risk and Issue Logs, Supplier Readiness Reports.
