Project Research Scientist-I (Medical) Position: Project Research Scientist-I (Medical) Number of Positions: 01 Essential Qualification • MBBS / BDS / BVSc or equivalent qualification from a recognized university/institution. • Candidates should fulfil the eligibility criteria prescribed by ICMR for the Project Research Scientist-I (Medical) position. Desirable Qualifications • Postgraduate qualification in Medicine, Public Health, Clinical Research or a related field. • Prior experience in clinical research, clinical trials, epidemiological studies or research projects. • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and research ethics. • Experience in patient screening, recruitment, follow-up and clinical data collection. • Familiarity with research documentation, case report forms, databases and regulatory/ethics requirements. • Research publications or prior involvement in scientific research will be an advantage. Key Responsibilities • Coordinate and conduct project-related clinical research activities as per the approved protocol. • Screen, recruit and follow up study participants, wherever applicable. • Ensure accurate collection, documentation and maintenance of clinical/research data. • Maintain essential study documents and ensure compliance with the study protocol, GCP and applicable regulatory/ethical requirements. • Coordinate with Principal Investigator, Co-Investigators, research team and other stakeholders. • Support preparation of study reports, presentations, abstracts and manuscripts. • Assist in monitoring study progress, timelines and project deliverables. • Participate in research meetings, training programmes and other project-related activities. • Ensure confidentiality and appropriate handling of participant information and research data. • Perform any other project-related responsibilities assigned by the Principal Investigator/Project Lead. Skills & Competencies • Good clinical and research aptitude. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Good documentation and organizational skills. • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary research team. • Proficiency in MS Office and basic research/data management tools. • Willingness to work in a hospital-based clinical research environment.
