Purchase Head Electronics Manufacturing Location: Manesar, Gurugram, Haryana Experience: 12–18+ Years Industry: Electronics Manufacturing / EMS Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Purchase Head to lead strategic and operational procurement for our electronics manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for strategic sourcing, vendor development, cost optimization, commercial negotiations, and ensuring uninterrupted material supply. Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute strategic procurement and sourcing plans aligned with business requirements. • Lead procurement of electronic components, PCBA, mechanical parts, plastics, consumables and other direct materials. • Identify, evaluate and develop reliable local and alternate suppliers. • Lead price negotiations, cost reduction, VA/VE and localization initiatives. • Ensure timely material availability and minimize supply-chain risks. • Monitor supplier performance on Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD). • Manage RFQ, supplier selection, commercial terms, contracts and purchase orders. • Work closely with PPC, Production, Quality, Engineering/NPI, Stores and Finance. • Develop and lead the Purchase/Procurement team and drive procurement process improvements. • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and ERP/SAP processes. Candidate Profile • 12–18+ years of experience in Purchase/Procurement, preferably in Electronics Manufacturing/EMS. • Strong experience in strategic sourcing, vendor development and price negotiation. • Good knowledge of electronic components and manufacturing supply chains. • Proven track record in cost reduction, supplier development and localization. • Strong analytical, commercial, negotiation and leadership skills. • Engineering degree preferred; MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain/Procurement will be an advantage. Preferred Industry: EMS, Electronics, Automotive Electronics, PCBA, Consumer Electronics, Industrial Electronics or Electrical & Electronics Manufacturing.
