Note This is Hiring for Randstad India Payroll ( off Role - Job ) Interested candidates call me Arvind -9768862978 g.arvind@randstad.in Job Description: Procurement Manager Location: Bhopal / Indore, Madhya Pradesh Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering Experience: Minimum 3 years in Procurement, SCM, and Warehousing Industry Preference: Metro Rail / Railways EPC projects or Electrical & Electronics Manufacturing Position Overview The Procurement Manager will manage end-to-end purchasing, vendor development, inventory management, and store warehousing for electrical and electronic systems across project locations. This role requires balancing technical specifications (BOQs), supplier negotiations, local logistics, and site inventory control to ensure project timelines are met. Key Responsibilities • Procurement & Sourcing: Handle end-to-end procurement of electrical equipment, switchgears, transformers, traction/OHE items, signaling relays, PCBAs, and cabling. Float RFQs, evaluate technical/commercial bids, and issue Purchase Orders (POs). • Vendor Management: Identify, onboard, and evaluate regional and national suppliers aligned with project quality standards and cost targets. • Warehousing & Inventory: Oversee store operations, safety stock levels, material inward/outward documentation, goods receipt notes (GRNs), and site distribution to avoid project delays. • Commercial & Contracts: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules. Ensure compliance with GST, customs clearance, Incoterms, and contractual penalty clauses. • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with site engineering teams to review Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and coordinate with Finance for vendor invoices and payments. Required Skills & Qualifications • Educational Background: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication, or related discipline. • Relevant Experience: 3+ years in direct/indirect material procurement, vendor negotiations, and store management. • Industry Background: Metro Rail / Indian Railways EPC projects, substations, signaling & telecom (S&T), or Electrical/Electronics manufacturing (transformers, control panels, switchgears, components). • Technical & ERP Skills: Hands-on experience with SAP MM or equivalent ERP system, purchase trackers, and inventory control tools.
