**Job Description QA Engineer (Functional)** Position Details - **Role:** QA Engineer (Functional) - **Experience:** 03 Years - **Location:** Gurgaon - **Department:** Product & Engineering - **Reports To:** QA Lead / QA Manager / Engineering Manager **Role Overview** The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of DTDC's logistics platforms, including shipment lifecycle, routing, delivery, and customer-facing applications. The role involves functional testing, API validation, defect management, and collaboration with Product and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality releases. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, execute, and maintain test cases and regression test suites. - Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing. - Validate end-to-end logistics workflows from order booking to delivery. - Conduct API testing using Postman and validate backend workflows. - Perform data validation using SQL queries. - Log, track, and verify defects using tools such as JIRA. - Participate in release validation, RCA discussions, and quality reviews. - Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and QA teams to ensure product quality. **Required Skills** - Understanding of Functional, Regression, Integration, and System Testing. - Knowledge of API Testing (Postman or similar tools). - Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge for data validation. - Familiarity with JIRA, TestRail, or similar QA tools. - Understanding of SDLC and STLC processes. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. **Preferred Skills** - Exposure to Logistics, Supply Chain, or E-commerce domains. - Knowledge of Microservices Architecture and Distributed Systems. - Exposure to Automation (Selenium) or Performance Testing (JMeter) is an added advantage. **Qualifications** - Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MCA, or equivalent.
