Regional Credit Manager

Job description

**Role & responsibilities** - Approve home loan and LAP proposals within delegated authority. - Assess borrower eligibility, repayment capacity, collateral, and legal/technical reports. - Ensure compliance with credit policies, regulatory guidelines, and risk framework. - Monitor portfolio quality, delinquency trends, and recommend corrective actions. - Partner with Sales, Operations, Legal, Technical, and Collections to balance growth with risk. - Lead and mentor regional credit teams, ensuring productivity and turnaround time (TAT) targets. - Review credit MIS, portfolio performance, and exception cases for senior management. Drive process improvements and standardization across the region. **Preferred candidate profile** - Qualified CA professional/ MBA is mandatory - 10-15 years of experience in Home Finance, HFCs, NBFCs, or Retail Banking. - Minimum 3-5 years in a regional credit leadership role.
