The role involves managing and growing a portfolio of current account customers, including acquiring new business clients and deepening relationships with existing ones. Day-to-day responsibilities include understanding customer banking needs, offering appropriate current account products and services, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The Relationship Officer will handle account opening processes, coordinate with internal teams for smooth service delivery, and monitor account activity to identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities. The role also requires regular follow-ups, resolving service issues promptly, and meeting defined sales and relationship management targets while upholding compliance and bank policies. **Qualifications** - Strong Business Relationship Management skills to build, maintain, and expand current account customer portfolios. - Foundational knowledge in Finance to understand banking products, regulatory requirements, and account operations. - Excellent Communication abilities to explain products clearly, conduct client meetings, and collaborate with internal teams. - Proven Customer Service skills to address queries, resolve issues, and deliver a positive banking experience. - Sales acumen to identify opportunities, achieve acquisition and revenue targets, and support business growth. - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, with strong time management and organizational skills. - Comfort using core banking systems, CRM tools, and MS Office applications. - High ethical standards, attention to detail, and commitment to fairness and transparency in customer interactions. - Prior experience in business banking or current account relationship roles is preferred but not mandatory.
