Communication skills are key here, to explain organizational objectives, assignments, and the big picture to the team, and to articulate team vision and clear objectives. **Job Responsibilities:** - This hands-on role focuses on executing employee relations (ER) strategies, driving engagement initiatives, and managing legal aspects of employment to ensure a fair, compliant, and positive workplace. - Ideal for a legal-savvy HR professional passionate about resolving conflicts and supporting business operations. Key Responsibilities - Lead and resolve high-risk and highly sensitive ER matters including executive escalations, domestic inquiries, full-cycle investigations, allegations of misconduct, and issues with legal or reputational exposure and preparation of investigation reports. - Conduct conflict resolution sessions for managers and employees, emphasizing empathy, objectivity, and sustainable outcomes aligned with company culture. - Draft and review legal responses, collaborate with internal and external legal partners, handle grievances, consequence management and policy counseling with legal precision and fairness. - Monitor engagement trends via feedback loops, and data insights; implement proactive interventions to address concerns and boost morale/retention. - Advise on legal aspects of employment, including labor law compliance, policy interpretation, and risk mitigation for terminations or disputes. - Support audits, compliance reviews, and cross-functional teams (e.g., Legal, Operations) on ER matters, ensuring timely resolutions. - Track key metrics (e.g., case resolution time, engagement scores) and contribute to reporting for senior leadership. **Qualifications & Experience** - Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) + Master's degree in Human Resources, Labor Laws, or related field; or equivalent experience as an HR Business Partner with strong legal exposure. - 5+ years of relevant experience in HR/ER, with proven hands-on involvement in domestic inquiries, ER investigations, terminations, and compliance. - Deep knowledge of Indian labor laws, POSH regulations, employment contracts, and corporate compliance frameworks. - Prior experience handling legal aspects of HR (e.g., litigation support, policy drafting, consequence management). Competencies & Skills - Strong investigative and analytical skills, with meticulous documentation abilities. - Excellent communication for articulating complex legal/ER outcomes to diverse stakeholders. - High emotional intelligence, confidentiality, and bias-free judgment. - Proficiency in HR tools (e.g., case management systems, MS Excel for reporting) and legal research platforms. **About The Team** eClerx is a global leader in productized services, bringing together people, technology and domain expertise to amplify business results.
