Key Accountabilities As a research and risk analyst you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities: • Market Research and country Dashboards Conduct comprehensive research on domestic and international education loan markets. Analyze trends in higher education, student mobility, immigration policy, employability across sectors and inform risk models and business strategy. • Economics and Geopolitical Research Analyze macroeconomic indicators and geopolitical developments that could impact the education financing sector and the repayment capacity of borrowers. Analyze various scenarios for assessing future shocks and risk assessments for the business • Regulatory Compliance Track and interpret all relevant regulations from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) ensuring the company’s risk management practices and guidelines are compliant with regulations stipulated by the RBI • Economic Dashboards for Asset Liability Management perspective: Tracking of global macro events and data and preparation of monthly ALCO presentations to highlight the impact on Avanse and also suggest mitigation plans. Support Treasury and other teams by providing inputs for liability and product development. • Strategic Insights – Translate research finding into actionable insights for senior management to support strategic planning, market expansion initiatives and product development. • Data analytics – Gather, clean and collate data to conduct data analysis using advanced excel and python on large complex datasets to draw insights and present finding effectively. Maintain monthly dashboards for all countries (including India) tracking various macro and internal trends. Required Experience • 0-2 Years’ Experience Required Qualification • MBA from a reputed institute • Having an economic background is an added advantage. • Highly adept at Powerpoint, thought clarity and excel. • Basic knowledge of Python etc. is required to create and manage dashboards.
