Job description

Location : anywhere in india **Overall purpose and objective of this position** Facilitating implementation of Environmental, Health and Safety Management at construction project site. **Major responsibilities /function of this position** Implementation of site specific instructions and EHS manual, provide training to employees and workforce, conducting tool box talks, site inspections, Personal Protective Equipment inspection, conducting safety audits, investigating and analyzing incidents/dangerous occurrences, preparing and sending safety reports, inspection of fire extinguishers, emergency response planning & conducting mock drills, overseeing that the sub contractors adhere to TPL EHS norms, conducting site safety meeting & inspecting labour camp hygiene. **Work experience, special training and / or level of education necessary for this position** Engineering Graduates of any discipline having experience of minimum 3 years / Diploma Engineers of any discipline having experience of 5 years / Science Graduates having experience of 5 years with one year diploma in Industrial Safety recognized by State Council for Technical Education **Supervisory responsibility** Supervising implementation of safety norms/guidelines in the projects being executed. **Competencies required for the job** **Knowledge** : Knowledge on basic principles of accident prevention / accident costs / electrical safety / chemical safety / material handling / occupational diseases / construction safety / safety laws / work equipments hazards and control measures **Cross functional Competence requirement:** Knowledge on basic electrical, mechanical, civil, legal and operation research. **Skills** : Troubleshooting & Crisis Management ; Communication **Behavior :** High Energy; Positive and pro active attitude; Open to new and innovative ideas
