**Role & responsibilities** **Position:** Safety Officer **Industry:** Fabrication & CED (Paintshop) **Experience:** Minimum **1 Year** **Location:** Akurdi & Bhosari **Working Days :** 06 Days **Weekly Off:** Sunday **Key Responsibilities** - Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations, the Factories Act, and company EHS policies. - Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, risk assessments (HIRA/JSA), and identify unsafe conditions. - Implement and monitor safe work practices in fabrication, welding, CED, painting, material handling, and maintenance activities. - Conduct **safety induction programs** for new employees, contractors, and visitors. - Organize and deliver **regular safety training**, toolbox talks, awareness sessions, and refresher training on PPE, fire safety, work permits, emergency response, and safe work practices. - Prepare the **annual safety training calendar** and maintain training records and attendance. - Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). - Monitor PPE compliance and promote a strong safety culture across the plant. - Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, mock drills, first aid, and fire safety systems. - Maintain statutory safety records, permits, compliance documents, and support internal/external audits. - Drive EHS awareness initiatives, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities. **Qualification** - Diploma/B.E./B.Tech with **Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS)** or equivalent. - Minimum **1 year of experience** in a Fabrication, Automotive, Engineering, or CED/Paint Shop environment. - Knowledge of the **Factories Act, ISO 45001, Fire Safety, Work Permit System, HIRA/JSA, Incident Investigation, and Safety Training** will be preferred. **Why Join Us?** - Opportunity to work in a leading automotive manufacturing environment. - Career growth and continuous learning. - Competitive salary and employee benefits. **Interested candidates may share their updated resume at:** **[purva.dandekar@lumaxmail.com]** **Subject:** **Urgent Hiring | Safety Officer | Fabrication & CED Industry | 1+ Year Experience** Please note that we are conducting **face-to-face interviews only**.
