Job Description The Mortgages department is a key vertical within the Retail Lending business of Axis Bank. It offers Home Loans (HL) and Loan Against Property (LAP) to a diverse customer base across India, supporting their financial aspirations with tailored solutions. About the Role This is a strategic leadership role focused on driving business growth, optimizing profitability, ensuring compliance, and leading transformation initiatives in the HL and LAP segments. The role demands a strong sales orientation, operational excellence, and a customer-centric approach to deliver superior outcomes. Role Details DepartmentRetail LendingSub-DepartmentRetail Lending Prime MortgagesGradeAM / DM Reporting (Business)M / SM / AVP Key Responsibilities Business Goals & Profitability - Achieve disbursement targets by sourcing HL and LAP business through assigned branches. - Drive daily engagement with branch teams to generate and convert quality leads. - Identify and execute cross-selling opportunities to enhance revenue. - Sales & Channel Development - Empower branch teams with product knowledge, sales strategies, and process support. - Conduct regular branch visits and huddles to improve lead conversion rates. - Compliance & Risk Management - Ensure thorough documentation and eligibility checks in line with internal and regulatory guidelines. - Maintain high standards of compliance and risk awareness. - Customer Experience - Engage with referred customers to ensure timely service and resolution. - Facilitate smooth onboarding and address queries during the loan application process. - Digital Adoption & Innovation - Promote usage of digital tools such as Siddhi, MLP, Omega, and SFDC for lead tracking and conversion. Qualifications - Graduate/Postgraduate from a recognized institution. - Minimum 2 years of sales experience (secured products preferred), in HL and LAP.
