Job Purpose • Support Engineering Transformation initiatives across Safety & Compliance, Operational Excellence, Customer Excellence, and Cost Leadership. • Contribute to process improvement, analytics, governance, and transformation projects across existing and future systems. • Apply first-principles thinking to solve operational and engineering challenges. • Provide leadership visibility, stakeholder alignment, and decision support. Key Accountabilities Safety & Compliance • Track safety and regulatory initiatives. • Support dashboards, KPI reporting, and risk visibility. • Benchmark industry best practices. • Prepare leadership presentations and reviews. Operational Excellence (Reliability & Resilience) • Analyse performance gaps and improvement opportunities. • Support reliability, resilience, and business continuity initiatives. • Coordinate cross-functional projects and stakeholder alignment. • Develop dashboards, insights, and executive-ready recommendations. Customer Excellence • Support initiatives that improve customer experience through operational performance. • Track customer-impacting metrics, disruptions, and recovery actions. • Benchmark leading airline practices. • Prepare customer-focused performance reviews for leadership. Cost Leadership • Support process optimisation and efficiency initiatives. • Track savings, benefits, and implementation progress. • Challenge assumptions using first-principles thinking. • Develop dashboards and presentations supporting cost leadership goals. Skills & Qualities Required • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to benchmark against global standards and identify improvement opportunities. • Advanced MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel. • Working knowledge of Power BI, Power Apps, automation, and digitisation tools. • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills. • Ability to create concise, executive-ready presentations. • Detail-oriented, proactive, and structured. • Adaptable team player capable of managing multiple initiatives. Key Interfaces Internal: PMO, Engineering, Operations, Digital, Supply Chain, Senior Leadership. External: Consultants, benchmarking partners, training providers, industry stakeholders. Strategic Deliverables & KPIs • Timely and accurate leadership reporting. • Strong stakeholder alignment and governance. • Effective tracking and closure of transformation initiatives. • High-quality dashboards, analytics, and executive presentations. • Actionable recommendations with measurable outcomes. • Digitisation and automation of reporting and governance processes.
