**Job Description (JD) - Senior Manager Warehouse Operations** Location: [Luhari, Gurugram, Haryana] Reporting To: Site Lead , Luhari Experience Required: 12+ years in warehouse/logistics operations in Grocery / FMCG , preferably in outbound or 3PL environments Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership - Oversee end-to-end outbound operations including order picking, packing, staging, and dispatch. - Ensure timely and accurate shipment of goods in alignment with customer SLAs and company standards. - Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to improve outbound efficiency. Team Resource Management - Lead and manage warehouse teams including supervisors, associates, and support staff. - Define roles, responsibilities, and KPIs for outbound teams; monitor performance and productivity. - Conduct regular training on SOPs, safety, and client-specific requirements. Process Compliance - Implement and maintain WMS/ERP systems for real-time tracking of outbound inventory and shipments. - Ensure compliance with customs, bonded warehouse protocols, and other regulatory requirements. - Maintain documentation and reporting for audits, dispatch records, and inventory reconciliation. Customer Stakeholder Engagement - Act as a liaison between clients, transporters, and internal departments to resolve outbound issues. - Provide daily/weekly/monthly reports on outbound metrics, issue resolution, and PL performance. Continuous Improvement - Identify process gaps and implement lean practices to reduce turnaround time and improve accuracy. - Drive initiatives to reduce pilferage, damage, and occupational hazards. Qualifications Skills - Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field. - Strong knowledge of outbound logistics, inventory control, and warehouse operations. - Proficiency in WMS, ERP platforms, and advanced Excel reporting. - Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Experience in managing Grocery warehouses and FMCG procedures is a plus. Skill Set 1. Technical Functional Skills Warehouse Management Systems (WMS): Proficient in using and implementing WMS platforms for outbound operations. ERP Systems: Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar systems for inventory and dispatch tracking. Outbound Logistics: Deep understanding of order fulfillment, dispatch planning, and last-mile delivery coordination. Inventory Control: Strong grasp of FIFO, LIFO, and cycle counting methods. Customs Compliance: Knowledge of bonded warehouse operations, export documentation, and regulatory compliance. 2. Analytical Process Improvement Data Analysis: Ability to interpret operational data and generate actionable insights. Lean Six Sigma: Familiarity with lean warehousing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. KPI Management: Skilled in defining, tracking, and improving key performance indicators (KPIs) for outbound operations. 3. Leadership Team Management People Management: Proven experience in leading large teams across shifts and functions. Training Development: Ability to coach and upskill warehouse staff on SOPs and safety protocols. Conflict Resolution: Strong interpersonal skills to manage team dynamics and resolve operational issues. 4. Communication Coordination Stakeholder Engagement: Effective communicator with internal teams, clients, and logistics partners. Reporting: Proficient in preparing and presenting operational reports to senior leadership. Customer Orientation: Focused on meeting client SLAs and enhancing service levels. 5. Safety Risk Management Workplace Safety: Knowledge of OSHA standards and warehouse safety practices.
