Senior Manager- Project Manager-VMTL (Connected Car)

Job description

Purpose of the Role : • Lead the VMTL Infotainment, Comfort, Controls & Connected Car domain and drive end-to-end delivery of customer-facing electronic and software features across vehicle programs while achieving Cost, Quality, and Time (CQT) targets. • Responsible for integration of infotainment systems, telematics, connected vehicle services, body electronics, comfort features, HMI, control modules, and software-driven functionalities from concept through production across all NPI gateways. Key Responsibilities : • Lead development of infotainment, telematics, connected car, body electronics, and comfort systems from concept to production. • Manage end-to-end project delivery across hardware, software, and vehicle integration lifecycles. • Drive integration of OTA updates, cloud connectivity, mobile applications, remote diagnostics, and digital cockpit solutions. • Define system requirements, feature roadmaps, validation plans, and technology strategies. • Manage software releases, engineering changes, and configuration control. • Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Cybersecurity, Quality, Service, Digital teams, and suppliers. • Support prototype builds, validation activities, and issue resolution. • Drive cost optimization, value engineering, and regulatory compliance.
