Senior MIS Executive (Logisctics)

Job description

We are looking for a **Sr. MIS Executive (Logistics)** to join our growing team and support day-to-day logistics operations, billing verification, claims management, reconciliation, MIS reporting, and data analysis. **Key Responsibilities:** **Freight Invoice Verification** - Verify freight invoices against transportation contracts. - Check billing rates, surcharges, weights, and charges for accuracy. - Identify discrepancies, duplicate invoices, and unauthorized charges. - Coordinate with logistics providers, transporters, warehouses, and internal departments to resolve billing issues. - Maintain records of verified invoices and supporting documents. - Ensure invoices are processed within required timelines. - Prepare reports on billing discrepancies and payment status. - Support audits by organizing and providing billing documentation. - Ensure compliance with company procedures and contractual agreements. **Logistics Claims & Recovery Management** - Investigate cargo damage, loss, shortages, and delivery-related claims. - Review shipping documents, including invoices, PODs, LR/GR copies, e-way bills, and insurance documents. - Coordinate with transporters, warehouses, customers, insurers, and internal teams. - File claims with carriers or insurance companies and follow up until settlement. - Calculate claim amounts and verify supporting evidence. - Maintain claim records, recovery status reports, and documentation. - Analyze recurring claim issues and recommend preventive measures. - Ensure claims are resolved within company-defined timelines. **Operations & Reporting** - Manage day-to-day logistics operations, billing, claims, and related data. - Identify POD shortages, damages, and billing discrepancies, and coordinate with vendors for resolution. - Perform logistics claim recovery and reconciliation activities. - Generate, monitor, verify, and maintain MIS reports. - Prepare operational reports and analyze logistics data to support decision-making. **Requirements** - 2–3 years of experience in logistics coordination or a similar role. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Good knowledge of logistics, transportation, and supply chain operations. - Understanding of freight invoices, billing processes, financial documentation, cargo insurance, and claim procedures. - Strong communication, coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools. **Location:** Farmley, 8th Floor, Add India Tower, Plot No. A-6A, Sector 125, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, 201313 Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year Benefits: - Provident Fund Application Question(s): - Do you have at least 2 years of experience in logistics operations, freight billing verification, and MIS reporting? - Have you independently handled freight invoice reconciliation, billing discrepancy resolution, or logistics claims management? - Are you proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis for MIS reporting?
