Industry: FMCG Location: Hyderabad Experience: 2–3 Years Function: Sales / General Trade (GT) About the Role We are looking for a result-oriented Area Sales Manager to drive sales, distribution, and market expansion across Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should have 2–3 years of FMCG sales experience with strong, hands-on experience in General Trade (GT) sales specifically in the Hyderabad market. Key Responsibilities • Drive sales and revenue growth across the assigned territory. • Manage and expand the General Trade distribution and retailer network. • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through effective territory planning and execution. • Manage distributor relationships and monitor primary & secondary sales. • Ensure product availability, distribution, visibility, and effective market coverage. • Conduct regular market visits and track competitor activities, pricing, and market trends. • Identify new business opportunities and drive market expansion. • Lead and monitor the performance of the sales team in the assigned territory. • Prepare sales reports and provide actionable market insights to management. What We’re Looking For • 2–3 years of relevant sales experience in the FMCG industry. • Mandatory: Hands-on General Trade (GT) sales experience in Hyderabad. • Strong understanding of the Hyderabad FMCG market and retail landscape. • Proven track record of achieving sales targets. • Good distributor and retailer management skills. • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities. • Ability to manage teams and execute plans effectively. • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
