Senior HR Statutory Compliance Officer (Factory Construction Project) Role & responsibilities : • Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory regulations, including CLRA, BOCW, EPF, ESIC, Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Wages Act, and Contract Labour regulations. • Monitor and verify statutory compliance of contractors and subcontractors deployed at project sites. • Review and maintain records related to employee attendance, wage registers, muster rolls, leave records, and statutory returns. • Coordinate monthly compliance audits for contractors and ensure timely closure of observations and non-compliances. • Facilitate timely remittance and reconciliation of EPF, ESIC, Labour Welfare Fund, and other statutory contributions. • Liaise with government authorities, labour departments, PF/ESIC officials, and inspectors during audits, inspections, and enquiries. • Ensure all labour licenses, registrations, and statutory certificates are valid and renewed within stipulated timelines. • Prepare and submit statutory returns, reports, and compliance MIS to management as per project requirements. • Conduct awareness sessions for contractors, supervisors, and employees on labour law compliance and statutory obligations. • Support HR operations related to onboarding, employee documentation, grievance handling, and compliance-related investigations at project sites. Preferred candidate profile • Any Graduate with experience 5-10 years of experience in HR statutory compliance, preferably in construction, EPC, infrastructure, or manufacturing projects. • Thorough knowledge of Indian labour laws and contractor compliance management.
