Job Purpose: Manage and ensure optimum performance of the unit in terms of Customer satisfaction and operational efficiencies Job Responsibilities: • Ward management • Maintain the Departments duty roster and Assigning the patients according to their skills • Clinical supervision of all staff and ensures high quality nursing care to patients. • Manage all medical equipment in their respective area and inform clinical engineering team in case of any issues. • Maintain Stock Inventory of the Departments. • Shift In charge is registered nurse with experience that processes leader ship and manage skills • Arrange medical record and send to MRD department • Supervising nursing staff and monitoring their needs. • Overseeing patient admissions, transfers, and discharges. • Mentoring and training new staff and providing support and guidance to all staff members • Monitoring medical charts and providing compassionate care and assistance to patient and families. • Liaising with doctor and administrators and communicating any protocol change to staff • Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulation • Identifying issues or emergencies and responding in a calm and efficient manner • When a patient's condition changes rapidly, the nurse makes quick decisions to treat the patient effectively. • Communication And Critical Thinking • Utilizes appropriate channels for communication and problem solving • Sets goals, assign priorities, anticipate problems, establish limits • Identifies and escalates any life-threatening issues associated procedures and guidelines. • Infection Control Practices • Ensure all aseptic technique is following in any procedure in ward, and raise incidents if any. • Ability to do the gowning procedure and scrubbing. • Knowledge about the disposal of infected linen, care and handling infected linen and general waste segregation and disposal in ward. Candidate Requirements: • Strives to develop good relations with other departments and ensures teamwork and co-operation amongst staff • Actively promotes practices that save company resources and minimize wastage • Willingness and initiative in acquiring knowledge, updating skills and technology or professional competency • Able to work under pressure and stressful situations while handling multiple tasks. • Excellent documentation skills. • Professional oral and written communication skills; must be able to interact and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization, as well as communicate with tact, diplomacy, and a high level of cultural sensitivity • Strong attention to detail. • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
