**Location Name:** Pune Corporate Office - Mantri **Job Purpose** - To ensure high availability, security, performance, and resilience of PostGres databases across PaaS and IaaS environments by providing end-to-end ownership, enabling robust HA/DR capabilities, and ensuring compliance with enterprise and regulatory standards. **Duties And Responsibilities** - Own end-to-end PostGres database availability, performance, and reliability across PaaS/IaaS platforms. - Ensure high availability, DR readiness, and RPO/RTO compliance through robust architecture and regular drills. - Drive database security and compliance aligned with RBI/NBFC, ISO, and enterprise standards. - Lead performance optimization, incident resolution, and operational excellence initiatives. - Provide team leadership and vendor governance to ensure consistent, resilient, and scalable database operations. **Major Challenges** - Multi Cloud database management - Performance analysis cost optimisation - Comply regulatory and compliance requirement. **Required Qualifications And Experience** - Qualifications - Engineering / Computer Graduate with specialization IT Operations and relevant experience in PostGres DB Management with 5 to 7 years of Relevant experience - Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills with strong stakeholder communication capability - Logical and structured approach to problem solving in high-pressure environments - Strong knowledge of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery principles in regulated (NBFC/BFSI) environments - ITIL Foundation or Intermediate Certification - Strong understanding of Database Recovery concepts including RPO, RTO, failover, and failback - Hands-on knowledge of multi-cloud environments including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) - Understanding of cross-cloud Database architectures, replication, backup, and recovery strategies - Knowledge of resiliency and continuity design for AI/ML platforms, data pipelines, and AI-enabled products - Strong understanding of data backup, recovery mechanisms, and data center architectures - Qualifications Strong experience in Database Administration and DB Security across IAAS and PAAS PostGres Databases and emerging technology landscapes. The role is responsible for Managing and Supporting PostGres Database end-to-end , ensuring DR drills are executed as per schedule, enabling new DR requirements and implementations, and ensuring operational resiliency across multi-cloud and AI-enabled platforms. The position ensures enterprise-wide resilience aligned with organizational strategy, RBI/NBFC regulatory expectations, and industry standards such as ISO 22301.
