Service Now - Lead Engineer

Overview Prodapt Solutions is looking for a ServiceNow Lead Engineer to design, develop, and deliver ServiceNow solutions that support our enterprise IT and business processes. The role requires deep hands-on technical expertise in the ServiceNow platform, leadership in guiding engineering teams, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. Responsibilities • Lead the development, configuration, and customization of ServiceNow applications and modules. • Implement and optimize ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM modules. • Develop and maintain scripts, business rules, UI policies, flows, workflows, and integrations. • Collaborate with architects to align designs with enterprise standards and best practices. • Oversee ServiceNow upgrades and patches, ensuring compatibility with existing solutions. • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end automation, integrations, and enhancements. • Provide technical documentation, training, and knowledge sharing to support ongoing operations. Requirements • 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow platform development and engineering. • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules (ITSM required; ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, or others a plus). • Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide, Flow Designer) and integration methods (REST, SOAP, APIs, MID Server). • Solid understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes and enterprise IT operations. • Experience with CMDB design, discovery, and service mapping. • Ability to lead and mentor junior developers. • Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA). • One or more ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications. • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD). • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
