Shift Engineer (Electrical)

Job description

Position: Shift Engineer Roles and Responsibilities: - O&M of MEP systems such as HT/LT electrical system, IBMS, Chiller system, water treatment plant on shift/daily basis - Perform shift related duties as assigned in utility areas and office floors - Co-ordinate with the vendors and service providers for site activities - Assume responsibility for completion of assigned tasks. - Supervise, train and evaluate assigned team - Prepare estimates on building repair and maintenance jobs; evaluate maintenance and repair needs. - Respond to electrical power failures and other emergencies in a timely manner. - Respond to complaints and provide resolution in coordination with technicians and vendors - Completion of Preventive maintenance tasks as per schedule and maintain records - Provide work permits and ensure tasks are carried out with safety and compliance. - Prepare and share reports, maintain inventories, and keep accurate records **Experience:** - Should have 5 plus years of experience (6 + for Diploma) - Should have experience in managing the shift operation of similar property by handling Electrical, IBMS, mechanical and plumbing systems in multitenant buildings or IT parks - Knowledge of Power Distribution (HT / LT Panels, Cabling) - Knowledge of Transformers, Motors and DG - Knowledge of Chiller plants - Knowledge of Electrical, HVAC and plumbing equipments and accessories for buildings and factories - Experience in handling Contractors / workmen at site - Must have experience with EHS and CEIG norms.
