Software QA Engineer

What You'll Do A successful QA Engineer will write and execute test cases, create test automation, and run regression tests. This individual will work closely within the agile pod to identify opportunities to improve the product offering to create a better user experience for First Advantage's customers. This individual will use their strong communication skills to work with our teams across the globe and can actively and effectively understand and develop empathy for the needs of hiring managers and candidates. Responsibilities: • 3 to 5+ years of QA experience • 2 + years as a full-time automation engineer • Experience work ing in an Agile development environment (Scrum or Kanban preferred) What You Will Need to be Successful • QA Automation platforms and technologies including CI/CD level automation integration • Agile software development methodology (Scrum or Kanban preferred) • Functional testing methods and techniques • Good understanding of Test Analysis and acceptance criteria process • SQL and Database tools (MS SQL Server Management studio) • Test Analysis and Test Scripting • Agile – SCRUM • DevOps/Jira • Reporting and Stakeholder Communication • WDIO/JavaScript but can have Selenium WebDriver /JAVA • BDD - Cucumber, BDD Scripting • Framework Maintenance and Improvements • CI/CD Automation Integration and Tools (Jenkins/TeamCity) • REST and SOAP API testing using tools such as PostMan/SOUPUI/ReadyAPI • Microsoft Azure Fundament Preferred knowledge of: • SQL and Database tools (MS SQL Server Management studio) • Test Analysis and Test Scripting • Agile – SCRUM • DevOps/Jira • Reporting and Stakeholder Communication • WDIO/JavaScript but can have Selenium WebDriver /JAVA • BDD - Cucumber, BDD Scripting • Framework Maintenance and Improvements • CI/CD Automation Integration and Tools (Jenkins/TeamCity) • REST and SOAP API testing using tools such as PostMan /SOUPUI/ ReadyAPI • Microsoft Azure Fundaments Skills (all required ): • Excellent English, written and verbal communication skills • Effectively meet deadlines and troubleshoot issues while handling multiple priorities • Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative • Ability to get the job done in time. With strong sense of urgency. • Strong problem solving and analytical skills • Outstanding attention to detail • Strong team player, willing to learn and share experience with other team members • Demonstrates ability to learn quickly within a continually changing, challenging environment.
