Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it. **Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled **Solution Lead (Front-End Machine Order Management) \\_to join our Front-End Order Management -CAT IT Division.** The Incumbent would provide deep technical and business domain expertise to lead complex technology initiatives that support business objectives. This role partners closely with business stakeholders and senior IT leadership to design, evaluate, and implement technology solutions that are compliant with enterprise standards and processes. The preference for this role is to be based out of Ba**ngalore, KA-India** **What you will do** - Lead and participate in workshops to validate business requirements for the Order Navigation Experience (deployed on SAP commerce platform), ERP touchpoints, and dealer‑facing solutions. - Consult with internal and external stakeholders to understand business requirements and propose technology solutions and supporting business cases. - Serve as a subject matter expert on complex technology topics, advising customers and teams on solution approaches and tradeoffs. - Lead the design, testing, and implementation of technology solutions and initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional and senior IT leaders. - Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, and application delivery standards. - Guide planning activities across operational, tactical, and strategic horizons to support business and technology roadmaps. **What you will have** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. - Extensive experience working with core enterprise application systems and integrations. - Proven ability to lead technology initiatives through the full delivery lifecycle. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and solution evaluation. - **This position requires the employee to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.** **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience contributing to tactical and strategic technology plans. - Working knowledge of enterprise architecture concepts and modeling techniques. - Experience leading or advising system and technology integration efforts. - Familiarity with information security principles and technologies. - 8+ years of progressive IT experience in application/API development and/or application/API support. - 8+ years of experience with commerce platforms such as SAP Commerce Cloud / Hybris. - 8+ years of integration experience using ETL or connectivity tools (e.g., DataStage, IIB, SnapLogic, Sterling Integrator, Datapower, Apigee). **Skill Descriptors** **Core Application Systems**: Knowledge of major production application systems used for delivery of services to internal and external clients; ability to leverage major production application systems in diverse situations. Level Extensive Experience: - Manages application-related issues, implications, and approaches with clients. - Evaluates key interfaces and interdependencies among core applications systems. - Explains features and benefits of core applications for consideration by business units. - Implements existing and planned application enhancements in major business units. - Tracks data flow between own applications and core applications in other business areas. - Plans enhancement, conversion, and retirement strategies for core applications. **Planning: Tactical, Strategic**: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
