We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Commerce Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of end-to-end backend architecture for Dynamics 365 Commerce implementations. The ideal candidate will own the technical vision across Commerce Runtime, Retail Server, Commerce Scale Units, and channel integrations, translating retail business strategy into scalable, high-performance architecture aligned with Microsoft best practices. Key Responsibilities Own the end-to-end backend solution architecture for D365 Commerce and FinOps implementations from discovery through go-live and post-production support Lead requirement-gathering workshops with retail/business stakeholders and translate requirements into scalable technical architecture Define integration architecture between D365 Commerce, Finance Operations (X++), Retail Server APIs, and external systems payment gateways, loyalty platforms, PIM, e-commerce storefronts, shipping/fulfillment providers Design loyalty and rewards architecture native D365 loyalty configuration vs. third-party loyalty platform integration, point/tier sync strategy, and redemption performance at scale Establish coding standards, ALM/DevOps governance, and branching/deployment strategy across Dev/Test/UAT/Production using Azure DevOps and LCS Define data architecture for pricing, discounts, promotions, tax, and inventory across channels, ensuring consistency between HQ and real-time channel operations Guide and mentor Commerce backend developers on CRT/X++ design patterns, code reviews, and performance tuning Create and maintain Solution Architecture Documents (SAD), Technical Design Documents (TDD), and integration blueprints specific to Commerce 14+ years of experience in Dynamics 365 Commerce/Retail (AX Retail or D365 Commerce) implementations, with at least 3+ years in an architect role Deep, hands-on expertise in X++ and the Dynamics 365 Finance Operations development framework Proficient in Azure integrations Good to Have Skills D365 Certifications Disclaimer: This job posting has been aggregated from external source.
