Sorter operative executive

Job description

Role & responsibilities • Operate and monitor the sorting/conveyor system for smooth package movement. • Sort shipments/packages according to destination, route, and process requirements. • Monitor machine operations and identify basic operational or technical issues. • Ensure proper scanning, segregation, and movement of shipments. • Coordinate with the Operations/TL team to resolve sorting-related issues. • Follow all safety, quality, and operational SOPs. • Maintain cleanliness and discipline in the work area. • Report machine breakdowns, abnormalities, or process issues immediately to the concerned team. • Ensure accurate and timely processing of shipments as per daily targets. Preferred candidate profile • ITI/Diploma/Technical qualification preferred. • Candidates with a Mechanical or Electrical technical background are preferred. • Basic experience in machine operation, sorting, warehouse operations, or a similar role will be an added advantage. • Freshers with a technical background can also apply. • Basic understanding of electrical/mechanical equipment and troubleshooting is preferred. • Ability to work in rotational shifts. • Good communication and teamwork skills.
