Job description

**Title:** **Sr. Analyst Deployment** **Function: Supply Chain** **Location: Powai** **Shift Timing:3.30PM to 12.30AM (Transport provided)** **Work Mode: Hybrid** **Week Off: Sat & Sun fixed off.** **Purpose of the role** To maintain defined inventory levels of all assigned products at every General Mills location by creating or adjusting replenishment requisitions and STPO's as necessary. Distribution planning of FINI/SEMI products across the DRY and Temp controlled network to achieve service level targets within acceptable cost parameters while leveraging existing ERP solutions like OMP, SAP, Analyzer etc. **Role & responsibilities** **Operational responsibilities (60%of Time)** **Distribution Planning** - Create and execute distribution plans at a product-location level for North America GMI operations. Make sure inventory is available in the right quantity at the right place and at the right time. - Exception management to protect service - Proactive actions to mitigate the risk of product expiration. - Maintain all system parameters (TRON) timely and correctly to ensure system output is in line with defined flow strategy and avoid manual intervention while deploying product into network. **Customer Service Facility (CSF) SPOC** (Network Management) - Act as a Single Point of Contact from Deployment for an assigned Overflow / Plant to execute inventory and IB/OB flow management - Assess the site situation with the help of various tools (CRT, Load levelling tool. Seek information from DSRM (Downstream / Upstream calls) and provide inputs in weekly Load levelling huddle. Work with deployers to mitigate the challenge specific to sites. - Provide Load prioritization or build loads based on outbound capacity. - In the event of CSF Gridlock situations, work with deployers & transportation team to spread / cancel / divert loads. - Review initialized requisitions going into assigned CSF to identify SKUs with high DOS, that needs postponement upstream hold or overflow strategy **Co-ordination (20% 0f Time)** - Co-ordinate with GMI distribution resources that include CSF Planners, Plant planners, Transportation Coordinators, Production Schedulers, Demand Planning, and other US-based resources. - Schedule and participate in meetings with Plants/business teams to align processes and identify opportunities for process improvements. - Participate in the meetings for Seasonal SKUs, New products, Customer specific promotions, service meetings. - Actively participate in Staff meetings, Knowledge sharing sessions, Trainings, Collaboration **Analysis & Reporting (10% of Time)** - Identify the reasons for shortfalls in customer orders. - Investigate Off- Strategy Distribution movements. - Analyze and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs- case fills, mode mix, reposition $ etc.) affecting the transportation costs. - Provide Service risk projections for short term and long term. - Analyze & report key drivers (demand trends/production etc.) impacting variances in weekly service level performance. **Additional Responsibilities (10% of Time)** - Weekly Service sheet preparation with proper root cause analysis - Identify opportunities for process improvements. - Perform System updates/maintenance as necessary. - Co-ordinate process documentation- Desk Manuals, Job Task Analysis and Critical Task Lists and conducting audit for the same. - Act as back-up TL for service-related issues for the division. - Work on Special Projects as assigned. Distribution planning of the inventory from Production plants to warehouses to meet desired customer service level. Utilizing systems SAP/OMP capabilities to create requisitions and building outbound shipments based on the forecast in the system at an item location level. The other cost-related KPIs, viz- Repositioning, Load Efficiency and Mode utilization, need to be balanced as per the Customer service levels. **Minimum Qualifications** - Full Time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory) - Related experience: Bachelors (4+ years); MBA (2+ years) - Supply chain knowledge (Core Distribution Planning & Logistic Operation, Basic logistic planning) - Systems (SAP/OMP) understanding - Strong decision making & Analytical Skills - Strong communication skills - Broad Perspective - Decision making - Interpersonal effectiveness - Learning Agility - Energize and Develop people. - Technical and Process Leadership **Preferred Qualifications** - Masters degree - 3 to 5 years of related experience - Major Area of Study in Supply Chain
