Designation: Senior Manager - Owned Fleet Ops Location: Tauru GW Desired Candidate profile: Look for candidates from Automobile/ OEM industry. Candidate should be from Vehicle service background preferably. Job description Objective: To manage company-owned assets effectively, ensuring maximum vehicle uptime, driver efficiency, cost control, and compliance with transportation regulations. Responsibilities • Vehicle Maintenance & Safety: Supervise routine maintenance schedules, repair scheduling, and ensure vehicle safety compliance (fitness, P.U.C., insurance). • Driver Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor drivers. Handle driver scheduling, route dispatching, and monitor driving habits for efficiency and safety. • Asset Lifecycle Management: Manage the acquisition and disposal of company-owned assets, including vehicle remarketing for the best ROI. • Cost Control & Reporting: Track fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and operational expenses to improve efficiency. Prepare KPI reports for senior management. • Route Optimization: Utilize tracking systems (GPS/IoT) to plan efficient routes, reduce idling time, and manage deliveries. • Vendor Management: Negotiate with third-party workshops, spare parts vendors, and service providers to ensure quality work at competitive rates Desirable Skills (Job Description) - 1. Should be familiar with parts indenting & warehouses management Basic Qualifications: Should have a Mechanical Engineering degree with 8-10 years or an Engineering Diploma with 12+ years of experience in commercial vehicles.
