**Job Title: Automation AI Engineer** **Reference:** RFQ SMART7466\\_HM **Years of Experience:** 3 to 10 Years **Role Summary** We are looking for an Automation AI Engineer with experience in Python development, AI/ML, CAD automation, and manufacturing domain integration. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Python programming, AI/ML and LLM technologies, CAD APIs, office automation, and data engineering, with the ability to work on automation solutions across engineering and manufacturing workflows. **Must-Have Skills** 1) Python Development: Expert-level Python programming for automation, scripting, data pipelines, ETL processes, REST API integrations, and Windows application development (PyQt/Tkinter/CustomTkinter). 2) AI/ML LLM: Experience with GPT-4/Azure OpenAI fine-tuning, prompt engineering, LLM-based document generation, Stable Diffusion/ControlNet for image generation, computer vision (object detection, OCR), and ML model deployment. 3) CAD Expertise: Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor API (iLogic, COM automation) and/or Creo Toolkit/Pro-E API for programmatic model manipulation, assembly automation, feature extraction, and BOM processing. Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA APIs is a plus. 4) Office Automation: Python-based automation of Microsoft Office suite python-pptx (PowerPoint), python-docx (Word), openpyxl/xlsxwriter (Excel) for report generation, template-driven document creation, and batch processing. 5) Data Engineering: Experience with data pipelines , database operations (SQL/NoSQL), JSON/XML/CSV parsing, schema validation, and data lake architectures. 6) Manufacturing Domain: Understanding of BOM structures (EBOM/MBOM), process routing, PFMEA, quality control plans (CTQ, RPN scoring), work instructions, and MES/ERP system integration. 7) PLM/PDM Systems: Experience with Enovia/3DEXPERIENCE REST APIs, vault operations, version control of CAD data, and product lifecycle management workflows. 8) Version Control DevOps: Git, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and Azure cloud services. Software Knowledge: - Autodesk Inventor (API/iLogic) - Creo Parametric (Toolkit API) - AutoCAD (scripting/API) - Python (3.8+) - Azure OpenAI / GPT-4 - Power BI (data visualization) **Nice-to-Have Skills** - Self-motivated and proactive mindset with ability to work independently on complex automation challenges. - Strong collaboration with design engineering, manufacturing engineering, quality, and IT teams. - Clear written and verbal communication ability to document technical solutions and present to cross-functional stakeholders. - Structured problem-solving and analytical thinking capability. - ability to manage multiple deliverables across different project phases with discipline. - Openness to learn new manufacturing technologies, CAD platforms, and AI/ML frameworks. - Creativity in applying AI/ML solutions to traditional manufacturing engineering problems. - Comfort with ambiguity ability to prototype and iterate in a fast-evolving technical landscape. **Educational Qualification** **BE/B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering** or related discipline.
