Role Description The Staff Nurse is responsible for delivering safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to patients in an on-site hospital setting in Preet Vihar. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring vital signs, and documenting care accurately in medical records. The role involves coordinating with physicians and allied health professionals, providing pre- and post-procedure care, and supporting patients and families with clear communication and education. The Staff Nurse also assists in emergency situations, adheres to infection prevention and control protocols, and follows hospital policies and clinical guidelines. This position requires participation in shift duties, including weekends and holidays, and active involvement in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. Qualifications • Valid nursing qualification (GNM, B.Sc. Nursing, or equivalent) and current registration with the appropriate nursing council. • Strong clinical nursing skills in patient assessment, medication administration, and basic procedures across relevant hospital departments. • Knowledge of infection control practices, patient safety protocols, and adherence to hospital policies and standard treatment guidelines. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. • Ability to manage shift work, prioritize tasks in a high-paced environment, and respond calmly to emergencies. • Basic computer literacy for electronic medical records and documentation; familiarity with hospital information systems is an advantage. • Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice, respect for diversity, and maintaining patient confidentiality and dignity. • Previous experience in a tertiary care or multi-specialty hospital is preferred but not mandatory; fresh graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.
