Staff Nurse - OPD Services

Job description

**Role & Responsibilities** - Deliver safe, compassionate, and patient-centered nursing care in the Outpatient Department. - Assist physicians during patient consultations, examinations, and minor procedures. - Assess patients, record vital signs, maintain accurate documentation, and carry out medical orders. - Administer medications, injections, dressings, and vaccinations as prescribed. - Educate patients and attendants on treatment plans, medications, follow-up care, and preventive health practices. - Ensure adherence to infection control protocols, biomedical waste management, and patient safety standards. - Maintain OPD records, manage appointment flow, and coordinate with other departments for seamless patient care. - Monitor and maintain adequate stock of medicines, consumables, and equipment in the OPD. - Comply with hospital policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. - Maintain professional conduct, effective communication, punctuality, and a high standard of patient service. - Manage high patient volumes efficiently while ensuring quality care and patient satisfaction. **Preferred candidate profile** - Qualification: GNM / B.Sc. Nursing - Experience: 2 to 6 years of experience in OPD/Med-Surg ward **Dress Code:** Formals and well-groomed
