Job description

Role & Responsibilities • Deliver safe, compassionate, and patient-centered nursing care in the Outpatient Department. • Assist physicians during patient consultations, examinations, and minor procedures. • Assess patients, record vital signs, maintain accurate documentation, and carry out medical orders. • Administer medications, injections, dressings, and vaccinations as prescribed. • Educate patients and attendants on treatment plans, medications, follow-up care, and preventive health practices. • Ensure adherence to infection control protocols, biomedical waste management, and patient safety standards. • Maintain OPD records, manage appointment flow, and coordinate with other departments for seamless patient care. • Monitor and maintain adequate stock of medicines, consumables, and equipment in the OPD. • Comply with hospital policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. • Maintain professional conduct, effective communication, punctuality, and a high standard of patient service. • Manage high patient volumes efficiently while ensuring quality care and patient satisfaction. Preferred candidate profile • Qualification: GNM / B.Sc. Nursing • Experience: 2 to 6 years of experience in OPD/Med-Surg ward Dress Code: Formals and well-groomed
