Job description

**Key Responsibilities:** **1. Medical & Clinical Oversight** - Ensure high standards of diagnostic accuracy and quality in all pathology services - Supervise reporting standards and TAT (Turnaround Time) across labs - Handle critical case escalations and provide expert medical opinions - Standardize protocols and ensure NABL / regulatory compliance **2. Team Leadership & Management** - Lead and manage a team of pathologists across the sub-zone - Drive hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management - Ensure proper duty roster planning and resource utilization - Build a strong second line of leadership **3. Quality & Compliance** - Ensure adherence to internal quality standards and external accreditations - Conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions - Maintain proper documentation and compliance with legal/statutory norms **4. Operational Excellence** - Coordinate with lab operations for smooth workflow and efficiency - Monitor productivity, reporting load, and cost optimization - Drive initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce errors **5. Stakeholder Management** - Collaborate with business teams, sales, and hospital partners - Handle client escalations and maintain strong relationships - Support medico-marketing initiatives and clinical discussions **6. Business Support** - Contribute to revenue growth through test addition and clinical guidance - Identify opportunities for expansion and new service offerings
