Qualification ITI / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or any relevant technical discipline. Key Responsibilities • Follow the daily production plan and achieve defined production targets. • Allocate manpower across different production activities based on operational requirements. • Monitor worker attendance, productivity, and performance. • Ensure workers follow standard production processes and work instructions. • Monitor production quality and minimize rejection, rework, and process deviations. • Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage. • Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and other support functions to ensure smooth production. • Report machine breakdowns and production-related issues to the concerned team. • Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and proper use of PPE on the shop floor. • Maintain cleanliness, housekeeping, and 5S standards in the production area. • Maintain daily production, manpower, quality, and shift-related records. • Support the Production Manager in improving productivity, quality, and operational efficiency. • Maintain discipline and good working practices among shop-floor employees. • Conduct effective shift handovers and communicate pending activities, issues, and priorities to the next shift. • Identify operational issues and support timely corrective actions. Skills Required • Basic knowledge of manufacturing and production processes. • Good manpower handling and team coordination skills. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Basic computer knowledge and ability to maintain production records. • Ability to work effectively in shifts. • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills. • Strong teamwork and coordination skills. • Knowledge of 5S, safety practices, quality, and productivity will be an added advantage.
