What makes the role meaty? • Supervise all slaughter line operations – bird reception, stunning, bleeding, scalding, defeathering, and evisceration – ensuring adherence to defined process and food safety standards. • Monitor chilling, grading, and frozen packing areas to maintain process integrity and minimize product loss. • Ensure production targets are met as per the daily plan released by the central planning team. • Coordinate with the procurement team to align live bird arrivals with plant loading capacity. • Ensure timely dispatch to meet OTIF compliance. What makes the role meaty? • Qualification: B.Sc./Diploma in Poultry/B.Tech / M.Tech in Food Technology, Poultry Science, or related field. • Experience: 2–4 years in poultry slaughter or processing operations, preferably with exposure to Chilled product manufacturing. • Operational understanding of poultry slaughter and primary processing systems. • Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulatory requirements. • Hands-on approach to line operations and workforce management. • Analytical ability for yield tracking and process optimization. • Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
