SyteLine Functional Consultant, Principal

Department: Infor Consulting Services Location: Hyderabad Description We are looking for an experienced SyteLine Functional Consultant with 8+ years of hands-on experience in Infor CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine) implementation, configuration, support, and business process optimization. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise across manufacturing and supply-chain processes, excellent stakeholder-management skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective SyteLine solutions. A Typical Day In The Life Includes • Lead and support SyteLine / Infor CloudSuite Industrial implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and production support. • Analyze business requirements and translate them into SyteLine functional solutions. • Configure SyteLine modules and business processes based on organizational requirements. • Work closely with business users, SMEs, technical teams, and project managers throughout the implementation lifecycle. • Conduct requirement gathering, gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment. • Prepare functional specifications, process flows, test scenarios, and user documentation. • Support CRP, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and go-live activities. • Troubleshoot functional issues and provide root-cause analysis and resolution. • Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities. • Participate in ERP integration discussions involving SyteLine and third-party applications. • Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend best-practice solutions. • Provide user training, knowledge transfer, and post-go-live support. • Manage incidents, service requests, enhancements, and change requests according to defined SLAs. • Coordinate with technical consultants for customizations, reports, interfaces, workflows, and extensions. • Support ERP upgrades, patches, localization requirements, and application enhancements. • Maintain functional documentation and contribute to ERP standards and governance. Functional Expertise Strong knowledge of one or more of the following SyteLine functional areas is expected: Manufacturing / Production • Bill of Materials (BOM) • Routings • Work Centers • Shop Floor Control • Production Scheduling • MRP / APS • Job Orders • Capacity Planning Supply Chain • Inventory Management • Purchasing • Sales Order Management • Material Planning • Warehouse processes • Item and Product Master Financials • General Ledger • Accounts Payable • Accounts Receivable • Costing • Standard / Actual Cost • Financial integration with manufacturing processes Order-to-Cash / Procure-to-Pay • Quote-to-Order • Sales Order processing • Shipping and invoicing • Purchase requisitions and purchase orders • Receiving and supplier processes Product Lifecycle / Engineering • Engineering Change Management • Product structures • Revision management • Engineering data Basic Qualifications • 8+ years of experience working as an ERP Functional Consultant, preferably with significant experience in Infor SyteLine / CloudSuite Industrial. • Strong understanding of manufacturing ERP processes. • Hands-on experience with SyteLine configuration and functional setup. • Experience working on at least one complete SyteLine implementation or major upgrade. • Strong requirement-gathering and business-analysis skills. • Ability to prepare functional specifications and solution-design documents. • Experience with ERP testing methodologies and UAT management. • Good understanding of ERP integrations and interfaces. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management capabilities. • Ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional and offshore/onshore teams. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Infor CloudSuite Industrial (CSI) and/or SyteLine 9.x. • Experience with Infor OS / ION and integration concepts. • Exposure to Infor Document Management (IDM). • Knowledge of SQL for functional troubleshooting and data validation. • Experience with reporting tools such as SSRS or equivalent. • Exposure to REST/API-based integrations. • Experience with ERP data migration. • Experience in multi-site, multi-company, and global manufacturing environments. • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum or other structured implementation methodologies. • Experience working with offshore/onshore delivery models.
