SAP S/4HANA EAM / Plant Maintenance Consultant Location: Lucknow, India Company: HCLTech Experience: 3 to 6 Years We are looking for a highly skilled SAP S/4HANA EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) / Plant Maintenance (PM) Consultant to join our growing SAP practice and contribute to enterprise-scale transformation programs. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA EAM/Plant Maintenance Consultant with 4-6 years of relevant experience in SAP PM and Enterprise Asset Management solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP PM/EAM solutions to improve asset reliability, optimize maintenance processes, and enhance operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities • Configure and customize SAP S/4HANA Plant Maintenance (PM) and EAM solutions. • Manage SAP PM master data including: • Functional Locations • Equipment • Task Lists • Maintenance Plans • Work Centers • Catalogs • Drive preventive, corrective, predictive, and breakdown maintenance processes. • Manage the complete maintenance lifecycle including notifications, work orders, planning, execution, and closure. • Participate in the design and implementation of end-to-end SAP EAM/PM solutions. • Analyze maintenance and asset data, generate reports, and monitor maintenance KPIs and costs. • Perform data migration, master data governance, and data validation activities. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with SAP MM, CO/FICO, QM, HR, CS, and PS modules. • Conduct system testing activities including: • Unit Testing • Integration Testing • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) • Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve system defects. • Conduct user training sessions and prepare functional documentation. • Participate in workshops, requirement gathering, process mapping, fit-gap analysis, and solution design discussions. • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, maintenance teams, and technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery. Required Skills & Qualifications Educational Qualification • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. Functional Expertise • 3-6 years of hands-on experience in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM). • Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA PM implementation and support projects. • Expertise in maintenance processes, asset management, work order management, and maintenance planning. • Knowledge of Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) processes. • Experience working in asset-intensive industries such as Manufacturing, Utilities, Energy, Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, or Engineering. Technical & Integration Experience • Strong understanding of SAP PM integration with: • Materials Management (MM) • Finance & Controlling (FICO/CO) • Human Resources (HR) • Quality Management (QM) • Customer Service (CS) • Project Systems (PS) • Experience with at least one end-to-end SAP EAM/MRO implementation lifecycle. • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA architecture and solution design. • Experience in highly regulated environments and compliance-driven maintenance operations. Preferred Skills • SAP EAM certification or relevant SAP certifications. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Experience with data migration and reporting tools. • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. • Experience working in global delivery environments.
