**Job Title: Tax Analyst / Senior Analyst FATCA & US Tax Operations** Function: Tax Operations | Level: Analyst / Senior Analyst Location: Pune, India | Shift: Night Shift (US Hours) | Work Mode: Hybrid Role Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Tax Analyst/Senior Analyst to join our Tax Operations team based in Pune. The role primarily supports global FATCA/CRS compliance, US tax information reporting, and withholding operations. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in US taxation and a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks governing international tax compliance. Key Responsibilities - FATCA / CRS Forms Review & Validation - Support the global FATCA/CRS reporting process and contribute to relevant internal controls - Prepare, refresh, and validate FATCA/CRS forms (W-8, W-9 series) for clients as required - Manage collection, review, and validation of FATCA and CRS documentation - Drive re-solicitation efforts for forms expiring on a 3-year cycle - Assist in tax-related ad hoc projects as needed Withholding & Reversals - Apply knowledge of withholding rates, instructions, and authoritative eligibility rules, including Section 871(m) - Support the Client Tax Reporting team on withholding processes and client servicing queries - Stay current on IRS regulations relating to foreign entities, withholding tax, and treaty benefits Tax Information Reporting - Manage US tax information reporting and client tax documentation - Participate in 1099 and 1042-S reporting processes during tax season - Perform reconciliations and ensure accuracy of tax reporting outputs - Maintain familiarity with FATCA and CRS reporting requirements and deadlines Skills & Qualifications - 14 years of relevant experience in US Taxation, FATCA/CRS, or tax operations; experience at a Bank or Big 4 firm is preferred - Solid understanding of US tax information reporting, withholding rules, and international tax compliance frameworks - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - Advanced Excel skills are essential - Fluent in written and spoken English - Self-motivated, organised, and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines - Collaborative team player who is also capable of working independently Work Arrangement - Location: Pune, India - Shift: Night Shift (aligned to US Hours) - Mode: Hybrid **Interested Candidates can share there resume on Nishtha.Jobanputra.C@eclerx.com.**
