Role Lotus Notes L3 Engineer Required Technical Skill Set (Skill Name) HCL Domino / IBM Lotus Notes Administration, Domino Server Management, Mail Routing & Replication, Notes Client Support, Directory & Identity Management, SMTP, LDAP, Domino Clustering, Security Administration, Certificate Management, Backup & Recovery, Windows Server, Linux Server Administration, Scripting (LotusScript/PowerShell), Incident & Problem Management Keywords Lotus Notes, HCL Domino, IBM Notes, Domino Administration, Mail Routing, Replication, Clustering, LDAP, SMTP, LotusScript, Migration, Messaging Infrastructure, L3 Support Must-Have Minimum 5 mandate details are mandate with two or 3 liners 1. Strong experience in managing and administering HCL Domino servers in enterprise environments. Candidate should be capable of handling server configuration, upgrades, patching, health monitoring, and issue resolution independently 2. Hands-on expertise in troubleshooting Lotus Notes client issues, mail delivery failures, replication problems, mailbox access issues, and user account administration. Experience supporting large user populations is preferred. 3. In-depth understanding of Domino mail routing, replication architecture, server clustering, and high availability configurations. Ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across distributed environments 4. Experience in handling ID files, certificates, ACL management, internet passwords, LDAP integration, authentication mechanisms, and messaging security controls. Knowledge of compliance and audit requirements is desirable 5. Ability to perform L3 support activities including root cause analysis, incident resolution, problem management, and change implementation. Experience working within ITIL-aligned support processes is required Good-to-Have Minimum 2 mandate details are mandate with two or 3 liners 1. Experience supporting mailbox migrations from Lotus Notes/Domino to Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, or hybrid messaging environments. Understanding of migration tools and coexistence strategies is highly desirable. 2. Knowledge of LotusScript, PowerShell, or other automation technologies to streamline administration, reporting, and operational activities within messaging platforms. 3. SN Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role 1 Provide L3 technical support for Lotus Notes and HCL Domino environments, ensuring high availability and operational stability. 2 Troubleshoot and resolve server, client, replication, routing, performance, and security-related issues. 3 Perform system maintenance activities including patching, upgrades, monitoring, backups, and recovery operations. 4 Work closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams to support business-critical messaging services. 5 Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, documentation, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
