Tech Lead - Ruby on Rails

**Location:** Pune / Mumbai / Bangalore / Chennai **Experience:** 12 years + **Key Responsibilities** - 12-15 Years of experience in Ruby on Rails development. - Work closely with Product owner to understand product roadmap, carve out feature roll-out, building product backlog, sprint planning - Co-ordinate work allocations among multi-location developers and testers. - Familiarity with Jira, weekly/monthly reports, sprint retrospective - Experience with Ruby on Rails, along with other common libraries such as RSpec and Resque. - Good understanding of server-side templating languages {{such as Liquid, Slim, etc depending on your technology stack}} - Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors {{such as Sass, based on project requirements}} - Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 - A knack for writing clean, readable Ruby code; Troubleshoot coding challenges with developers - Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system - Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application - Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes - Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{e.g. Git, Mercurial or SVN}} - Familiarity with development aiding tools {{such as Bower, Bundler, Rake, etc}}
