Job Requirements About the Role As a Technology Lead at IDFC FIRST Bank, you will be responsible for leading the engineering team and driving the development and integration of microservices for our new-age banking solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement APIs that enhance customer experience and support business growth. Key Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities • Lead a team of developers to design, develop, and implement APIs for new-age banking solutions. • Demonstrate expertise in software development and engineering. • Apply strong knowledge of API development and integration. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Ensure quality and timely delivery of API projects. • Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members. • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in API development and integration. • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions. • Communicate project updates and progress to stakeholders. Secondary Responsibilities • Support and mentor team members to enhance their technical capabilities. • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team. • Ensure adherence to development standards and best practices. What We Are Looking For Education • Bachelor’s degree in engineering Experience • 6+ years of proven experience in Banking Financia Services and Insurance Skills and Attributes • Strong proficiency in Java and API development frameworks. • Experience with API management tools such as Apigee or MuleSoft. • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
