Title: Telecom Network Architect (5G RAN, O-RAN, Telco Cloud & Network Automation) / Technical Leader Required Technical Skill Set: 12+ years of experience in telecom network architecture, product engineering, network transformation, 4G/5G RAN, O-RAN, Open RAN platforms, 5G Core, Telco Cloud, OSS/BSS integration, Network Automation, AI-driven Networks, and large-scale network modernization programs. Role & responsibilities • Strong expertise in 4G LTE, 5G SA/NSA, O-RAN, Private Networks, Open RAN ecosystems, and Network Transformation programs. • Deep understanding of 5G RAN architecture including RU, DU, CU, Near-RT RIC, Non-RT RIC, SMO, Open Fronthaul, E2, A1, and O1 interfaces. • Strong knowledge of 3GPP standards, O-RAN Alliance specifications, ETSI NFV, TM Forum frameworks, and cloud-native telecom architectures. • Experience working with telecom network operators, Network OEMs, Service providers on 5G Core, Transport Networks, Edge Computing platforms, OSS/BSS integration, CNFs, VNFs, and Telco Cloud deployments. • Strong understanding of network KPIs, telemetry, observability, capacity planning, resiliency, scalability, and performance optimization. • Hands-on exposure to Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, CI/CD, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Network Automation frameworks. • Experience engaging with telecom operators, OEMs, system integrators, hyperscalers, and engineering organizations. • Strong architecture governance, stakeholder management, solutioning, pre-sales support, and technical leadership capabilities Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role • Define end-to-end architecture for LTE, 5G, O-RAN, Private Networks, and next-generation wireless network deployments. • Lead solutioning and architecture design for network transformation, Open RAN adoption, cloud-native evolution, and telecom modernization programs. • Drive platform engineering and architecture initiatives across RAN, Core, Telco Cloud, Edge Computing, Automation, and OSS ecosystems. • Define architecture blueprints, technology roadmaps, reference designs, accelerators, and strategic solution frameworks aligned to customer business goals. • Evaluate emerging technologies such as AI-RAN, Autonomous Networks, Digital Twins, 6G Concepts, and Intelligent Network Operations. • Support large-scale RFPs, customer proposals, technical presentations, architecture reviews, and executive-level solution discussions. • Collaborate with telecom operators, OEMs, hyperscalers, ecosystem partners, and internal engineering teams to deliver strategic programs. • Mentor architects and engineering teams while ensuring scalable, secure, resilient, and operationally efficient network solutions. Good-to-Have • Experience with AI-RAN, Autonomous Networks, AIOps, SON, and AI-driven network optimization. • Exposure to Digital Twin platforms and network simulation environments. • Experience with network observability, telemetry, service assurance, and analytics platforms. • Knowledge of 6G architecture evolution, NTN, Edge Computing, and Network APIs. • Familiarity with TM Forum Open Digital Architecture (ODA) and Open APIs.
